I trained as an allopathic physician at Anáhuac University, followed by clinical rotations in Houston, TX. My early career in pediatric oncology and neurosurgery provided a deep foundation in evidence-based clinical practice. However, I soon identified a critical gap in conventional medicine: it failed to fully address patient quality of life, neuroplasticity, and emotional trauma.
This realization led me to advanced training in Functional Medicine (IFM), Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (CIIS & MAPS), and Yoga Psychology. I've spent the last decade researching the intersections of consciousness, immunology, and disease. I'm currently focused on the role of the microbiome, vagus nerve signaling, and plant compounds (e.g., psilocybin, DMT) in modulating inflammation and trauma resolution.
